“Being part of the Flurries Family has touched my heart in ways I never thought possible. Watching the children come together, support each other, and create something beautiful is a true blessing. As a parent, it’s been amazing to see Adrianne grow into a kind, compassionate, and accepting individual. This team has been a guiding light in teaching her the importance of empathy, love, and unity. Adrianne has also grown more confident and absolutely loves cheer! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for creating a safe space for us and our children.”

“The Flurries family has made such an impact on my daughter’s life, they welcomed her in as a late start, as she wasn’t there from day one. A place were she is able to be herself, she has made lifelong friendships and bonds. The coaches and volunteers are always cheering on the kids like they are their own. All of us parents have created our own bond and along with never judging and always willing to help each other. All these children come together with determination and enthusiasm, will and love and passion each week. Special Olympics is a No judgment zone and all these kids are welcomed. Thank you for giving my daughter the opportunity to be part of a team that she loves.”

“Kayleighana’s journey with the Flurries has been nothing short of amazing, and her membership in this family has been a beacon of hope and inspiration for her and our family, particularly given that it was something we thought she would never be able to participate in. We have had the pleasure of meeting some truly exceptional children and their families, with whom we share common interests and experiences, making it an even more enriching experience for the kids and parents to feel included in a safe and judgment-free space. The opportunity to watch these kids perform at Gillette Stadium and at cheer competitions has been a true highlight, and as a parent, I am deeply thankful to the Flurries for providing my daughter with the opportunity to be part of this wonderful cheer family and to experience the joy of cheerleading.”

“Being a part of the Flurries has given Winter and myself extra support and extra love. Winter has made some amazing new friendships from being part of the Flurries. To us its not just a team its a family. Hannah has given Winter the opportunity to be her spunky self and help grow her confidence. Winter has been able to learn some great skills and at her own pace.”

The Flurries is not just a inclusive cheer team but a place where everyone is met with patience, love and confidence week after week. Watching my daughter grow and learn new skills something can never get enough of. Being a part of the Flurries has been an I experience have prayed for. Not only has my daughter met lifelong friends on the team but the parents have formed bonds that exceed any expectations. Everyone and their families are accepted with open arms. I’m so grateful Mia gets to be in the Flurries and I’m so proud of these kids. The amazing team of coaches have always made me comfortable, as they all take care of our kids like their own. I encourage ANYONE looking for a village for not only your child but also yourself as a parent to join the Flurries you will NOT be disappointed!”

“It has been a profound experience to see what an impact our special needs kids have on “everyday people” as it was seen in all of the coaches, kids, and parents after Season 1 with the Flurries. The bonus was when we all instantly “clicked” in these new friendships from an amazing opportunity like Flurries and instantly became built-in supports for one another. From the start there was never any judgment yet each of us parents and our children were met with patience, empathy, grace and encouragement week after week as an important part of their TEAM. The friendships and true TEAM building that happened weekly to get to trust, know, understand then later showcase each of our kids amazing talents was such a beautiful experience to witness. The coaches identified where each child started in their Cheer ability, met them where they were at and encouraged them to push themselves each week as they improved at the Cheer skills, at their own pace. I can’t say enough for the profound experience of Cheer to showcase Ryders strengths while it was challenging his social insecurities. This experience allowed him a safe space to be himself while proudly showing off those skills and happily making friends along the way. He is proud to be a FLURRIES! Thank you Storm Il Flurries “
