Flurries Cheerleading was created to give athletes of all ages and abilities the chance to experience the joy of cheerleading. Our program builds confidence, friendship, and community while showing the world that we see abilities, not disabilities. Every practice, performance, and competition is an opportunity for our athletes to shine.

Major Events
This season, our athletes will shine at five major events—the SOMA Flag Football Tournament, competitions in Providence, Worcester, and Foxwoods, and a local showcase.
Our Fabulous Coaches
Behind every Flurrie is a coach who believes in them. What makes our coaching team so special is the heart and perspective each one brings. From healthcare professionals who understand the importance of care, to special education educators who know how to nurture every ability, to college and early childhood students who bring fresh energy and joy—our coaches are united by one purpose: helping every athlete feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Their passion and dedication make the Flurries more than a cheer team—they make us a community.
Cheer Buddy Program
Cheer Buddy Program
Our Cheer Buddy program pairs Flurries athletes with dedicated volunteers who provide encouragement, guidance, and an extra layer of support. Whether it’s during practices or out on the performance floor, Cheer Buddies are there to help each athlete feel confident, safe, and celebrated. By stepping in where needed and cheering loudest when it matters most, they help every athlete’s individual strengths shine—and remind us all that teamwork is about lifting each other up.
